Why do you need my email address?
We use your email address for one reason only: to ensure our services aren't overused. Therefore, we require each user to have a valid email address before a Baby Name Intervention email can be sent.
Will the recipient ever know I sent the intervention email?
We don't ask for your name, only your email address and that is purely for the purpose of preventing intervention overuse (as mentioned above). Your email address will remain safely locked inside our database until it's deleted.
Why did I receive a Baby Name Intervention email?
We can't answer that question with complete assurance. What we can tell you is the email was sent to you by a human being, it was intentional and not randomly generated. So if you absolutely love the baby name you've decided on, just laugh the whole thing off. If you don't, consider something different. The choice is yours.
I have a great story about a bad baby name. Where can I share it?
We'd love to hear it, so submit your story here. Please remember only true stories are accepted!
I submitted a story or a bad baby name, but it didn't show up. What happened?
All tragic stories and names submitted to the Bad Baby Name Repository (not those names submitted as part of an intervention) are reviewed for appropriateness and validity by our staff before posting. If it doesn't show up in a day or so, you'll know it didn't meet our standards.
I'm getting bombarded with Baby Name Intervention emails! Make them stop.
Ok, so this isn't a question. However, we do think it's important that you know we've implemented policies to ensure that doesn't happen. But, if we've missed something, let us know. Or you can make them stop.
